The look of surprise and shock that came on the fellow Exchanger’s face was understandable. Yellow hardly ventured out of her home region Kanto, but ChuChu and Dodosuke (or rather ChuChu, she wasn’t sure…) had other things in mind as they made her chase them from a long while from her home. She gently gives a wave and a small smile, to let him know it’s really her.
“It’s been a while Silver." She drops the honorifics, but it feels so weird as she was so used to calling him with one, and can’t help but look at him as he comes closer. "How have you been?”
He looks older- which was an understatement on her part, as they hardly met for so long… (the last time being when she was fourteen.)
“Ah, I remember watching a episode long time ago.” She smiles as she gestures her Pikachu to come, who then jumped into her arms. “It kept Chuchu and the others entertained. I found it funny, how it was based on Red-san’s…. Pokemon.”
It had been a long time since the Exchanger had a conversation with Yellow. The last time they had seen each other was… After the fiasco regarding the Battle Frontier, wasn’t it? That seemed like a far off memory at this point, though fresh all the same. Silver had still been so busy tending to his own life that he had little time to associate with the others outside of Crystal and Gold… The ones that were closest and could help him if he needed it.
"Ah– Yes… It has been a while.” The redhead responded, nodding his head slightly; slowly even. “A lot has happened since the last time we last saw each other.” Far too much to explain standing around on the sidewalk in front of an electronic store, this he was more than aware. Silver didn’t mind talking to her again, but… Not here for much longer.
“Well, the director told Gold it was supposed to be about him.” Or was it that the Hatcher just thought it would be with how the man was talking at the time? He wasn’t sure, he had been too engrossed in reading around that time to bother listening all that much. The boy glanced around then, as if the words he wanted to say were located elsewhere before clearing his throat and pointing off down the sidewalk. “Yellow-san, would you like to accompany for a while? To talk for a bit…”
Granted he wasn’t the best at idle chatter when he was usually to the point, but Silver was trying.
