Getting arrested for carrying a weapon was such a strange concept to him, of course he could understand if especially peaceful towns needed some sort of reassurance that the weapon in question was only for self defense… But ah, guess not all places had the same rules as his World. “Isn’t that obvious? I need my sword for self defense, there are hostile monsters where I’m from,” the Hero retorted rather dryly, squinting at the redhead with an obvious frown.
Ah, he wasn’t comfortable with the thought, but perhaps he really should store his sword somewhere else for the time being.
“I can put it away if it bothers you? It’s not like I want to cause trouble, I’m only here for a walk.”
“You must be from very, very far away then.”
The only thing close to monsters here were pokemon, and they certainly didn’t need to be taken so seriously to the point where you used a dangerous weapon. If you had your own pokemon, you could protect yourself that way… If not, it was a mistake to even be careless enough to anger a pokemon into attacking.
