The voice had taken him by surprise. Silver…? What could he be doing here? As he turned to better receive the voice, his eyes had confirmed what he had previously suspected. Yes, that was Silver, but what were the chances of them seeing one another like his? He did not know, but the fact that he was here did pique his interest.
There was a pause to register what his son had asked him before he could respond.
“I suppose you could say that. I mean, I’m alive, right? At least we have that in common. How about you, Silver? Are you alright?”
Certainly, being over this way wasn’t usually the boy’s normal location for his travels. The boy would more or less remain within Johto for the most part considering that was where most of the familiar people he knew were located. Kanto had once been home to him, but it was a foreign concept to him when he didn’t remember it at all that much.
