Thursdays, of course, are fun days. Gold gets to eat popcorn and junk food without getting disapproving looks, and Silver gets to watch his favorite TV show. No announcement was needed for Silver to pop over, as he would each week, for the daily airing of the children’s TV show Proteam Omega.
“Gotcha covered. I had it recording. Pizza’s on the way, and then afterwards we can watch Timegate Travelers.” The most important night of the week: Movie-and-Robots Night. He’s considering renaming it to ‘Robot Movie Night’ since Gold’s current obsession with dystopian science fiction hasn’t yet died down.
Though Silver was aware he was free to come over and stay as long as he liked ( words straight from Gold’s mother’s mouth ) , the redhead wasn’t the type to wish to overstay his welcome, no matter how much it may have been insisted that it was no problem.
But, he still wished to visit sometimes, and to spend time with Gold– Thus, the days he came over to watch his now favorite television show with his best friend was something important to him, the one routine thing of his that he would’ve liked to keep as it was.
“It sounds like fun.”
There was a rare smile on the male’s face, nodding in agreement at Gold’s words. Watching other things with him after what brought them together wasn’t something he was going to complain over, after all.
