     “With that same logic, you’d be little more than a thief at this point. Don’t think you’re crimeless at the source, Silver. You still stole your Feraligatr.”

     He had the right and the reasoning to feel the way he did, though. She wouldn’t argue that his logic was sound. “People change. People grow and they change and bad people can become good. The same way a good person can’t be written off as incapable of bad. Good people have done horrendous things, and we don’t say that they’re good people after that, their past is irrelevant to what they are in the current time. You aren’t a thief. And I’m sure Giovanni won’t be considered a villain by the time you see him again. And, as for training, you have plenty of time for that. Your team is pretty strong as it is, anyway.”

     She frowned slightly at the flick, sticking out her tongue playfully. “If anything, think of it this way.”

     A smile, and she ruffled his hair a bit. “Even if it falls onto you, as the heir to Team Rocket or whatever… you could technically dissolve the whole group. The whole of the organization was loyal to your father, and you by next of kin. The executives can’t do much if the leader themselves dissolves the team.”

     Shaking her head, she let out a laugh. “And, for your dad liking me or whatever? As if I’d care. I don’t deal with ‘im on a daily basis, he can like or dislike me all he wants, won’t affect my opinions.”

‘ I never was excluding myself from my own logic, mind you. ‘

Silver was very aware of the fact he was a thief, just as Blue was with stealing Squirtle. Like brother like sister, after all… And they both had their own plans that coincided no matter how far apart they might’ve been at the time. The heir had been raised a criminal by Pryce, lived as a criminal to get by, and even now he had to struggle with his life being tied to that of an infamous criminal whose blood flowed through his veins.

This was something he could not avoid, no matter what.

‘I am genuinely in awe and admire your hopeful outlook, Crystal, but I’m more of the ‘I’ll believe it when I see it’ type of person– But you already know that. ‘ At least, she should’ve at this point. She had known him long enough to be aware of such, but at the same time, she was just as stubborn with her own opinion on this matter. ‘ He is a villain until I say so. As his son, I have the right to say that, just as he has the right to say something towards me of a similar nature respectively. ‘

‘ So long as Team Rocket exists, he is left responsible for it and any suffering brought forth via their actions. ‘ And, by extension, Silver felt as if he was too when he swore to stop Team Rocket, only to not do so yet in favor of over-preparing and training in the case that he failed against his own father when the moment of truth came.

Cue a near childish sigh at the ruffle of his hair, followed by Silver shaking his head a bit. 

‘ We’ll just have to see how things turn out when we get to that point. Till then, this is how things are, Crys. ‘
