A childish noise bubbled up the heir’s throat at the poke to his forehead, taking a step backwards in near surprise at the action before he gave the slightest scowl. He didn’t understand what she meant– Did Crystal really think that he felt like that? Perhaps, to a certain extent he did… And it didn’t help that the male wasn’t the best at articulating his feelings into words. Honestly, the redhead didn’t know what his thoughts were when he couldn’t set them in stone. ( Did he hate his father? Did he care for him? Did he want to understand him, or just keep him from harming others? )

Surely, he had to get this from his father; this lack of skill in speaking when it came to feelings. Whether he had a past they caused this even more-so was irrelevant, for perhaps they were destined to have such terrible communication skills if Silver grew up in the presence of his father or not.
