Funny, some called it, since he was seventeen now and most of the time he acted apathetic to anything he came across, anyONE included. He hadn’t shown much emotion to anyone due to being taught that such was only a sign of weakness (something Giovanni agreed with, evidently) so some were genuinely surprised when it came to seeing the heir offer a rare smile to the older man and leader of Team Rocket.
No one made fun of him or questioned it. No no, not in HQ where all the people here were basically below him since he was the heir and next in line to take over some day in the future. All except one person, and to be honest, that person just didn’t give a shit, enjoyed messing around with him anyway, and–
