Indeed, Goldenrod wasn’t very big. He had seen bigger. Castelia, Nimbasa — especially Lumiose. They all were bigger and grander than little Goldenrod, but nevertheless a person of his status harboured a certain curiosity that always led him to the allyways in hopes of finding some sort of entertainment. Speaking of— Wasn’t there a Game Corner in this city? It was a shame that Unova didn’t possess any.
“I have to apologise. I’m used to bigger places, admittedly,” the man tipped his hat in lingering amusement, a brief contemplative hum escaping him minutes later. Zoroark was still nowhere to be seen, in that case… “Accompany me. I need a guide, afterwards! I harbour an interest in the Game Corner, but I’m not quite sure if I know the way, you see…”
Needless to say, he wouldn’t accept a no.
Johto wasn’t a really big region to begin with. Compared to the likes of Unova or Kalos, it was rather small and closely knit since people seemed to have connections with everyone here. There weren’t many big cities like there were in other places, the biggest being Goldenrod where the two of them were now. Tourists mostly came here if they weren’t going to Olivine for the Battle Frontier, and honestly this guy didn’t look like much of a competitive battler to begin with… Which was good. Silver didn’t bother battling unless threatened or attacked first, more or less remaining passive. Battling was more for his senior Dexholders in Kanto than himself, if one had to label anyone as the type to do that.
Though, that… Wasn’t what he wanted. His words of attempting to be some sort of help weren’t some invitation for the other to make him his guide in this city. He had other things to do– But with his way of wording it, it didn’t really seem as if he wanted a no.
“I don’t suppose you’re giving me a choice?” Came the rhetoric question, gloved hands shoving into the pockets of his jacket with a sigh, taking one step forward with a hint of reluctance. Whatever, whatever. It wouldn’t be that long, hopefully… And he needed something warm to drink too. “Fine… It’s this way. Please don’t wander off, because I’m not going to go find you.”
